No, the cover is not made from chew-resistant material. We use furniture-grade microfiber, which is "scratch-resistant." This means it holds up better against nesting and digging than most dog bed covers. However, determined dogs can chew through it. We rarely receive reports of chewed-up beds because we hide the zipper and sew the seams properly, removing some of the attractive things to chew on.

I dislike that i ordered a small one and it came with supportive padding and then i ordered a bigger one and it came with different unsupportive padding????? Doesnt make sense. The small ones padding is great and you cant feel the floor. The big ones padding is horribly thin and all you feel is the floor… its useless, waste of money

Went by suggested dog breed which was German Shepard ; Rottweiler. So ordered an XXL. Too small by a long shot.
